Our highly trained turbine blasting technicians supply all of the equipment necessary to perform the cleaning. Curran International will set up containment tents and dust collection to ensure no fugitive grit or dust escapes and damages surrounding equipment and allows other crafts to work within close proximity to the blasting tent. The turbine blasting will remove all turbine scale while not removing metal from the trailing edges of the blades. Once the turbine blasting is complete; all of the turbine components cleaned are turned over to the client’s NDE or NDT team. All blasting containment is demobilized by the blasting crew, and spent abrasive collected in client provided waste bins.
